Duplex? I only know this term from printing, and from buildings *g* What exactly does it mean?

It's from printing. It's kind of grayscale, but there aren't only black and white, but two (duplex), three (triplex) or four (quadruplex) different shades of grey or other colours like blue, brown, red, green, yellow. It's a photoshop tool. :-)
