Isn't it crazy how the light affects the way a picture looks - it was still quite early in the morning when I took these, and very overcast, since it was still snowing heavily, plus of course bitterly cold. Hence the bluish tint. The pictures from my window were taken a few hours later when it had brightened up and the difference in the light quality is obvious.
