I just realized that not everyone in this community are on my flist.  I'm in the middle of the (mind numbing and tedious) task of changing all my photos over to flickr and my LJ scrapbook as I am unhappy with the quality on Photobucket.  This means moving each photo and then editing each entry to replace the photo from photobucket with the new link.  As you can imagine, it is rather annoying, so I'm taking a bit of a break from posting here.
Of course, I must post photos, and what better subject than the pups?!

It was raining and they are waiting for their 'we just came inside from outside' treats.  But they looked so cute in their towels.

Purley went to the vet today and now weighs in at 30 pounds (almost 14kg) but has an infection which we are starting to treat.

I've been toiling away at the photo conversion and when it's done, it'll be better. But getting it there is not so fun.

Meanwhile...Dumbledore has been unable to keep a DADA professor for more than a year since turning down Voldemort.

I'm thinking there is a great deal of misinformation circulating (purposely) since it is going to be a huge deal. JMO.

Oh I'm not overly happy with Photobucket either, it's so tedious in some ways - I'd forgotten about flickr! Do you think it's more user-friendly? I should go and look... *g*

I think flickr is much more user friendly. When you are looking at a photo, all you have to do is click on the 'All Sizes' icon then choose what size you want and 'Voila' there is a ready to copy and paste box right below the photo with the embed code. It's a snap!

Purley? First it was Rochester and now it's Purley! And I'm pretty sure there have been other English place names as well.

I'll admit though, that as far as I know there is no place in England called Fergus. I may be wrong... :)

I had no idea Purley was a place! LOL! Don't forget our ginger cat Birmingham..:-)

They are all actually named after characters in 1930'2 and 40's entertainment. It seems the makers of these entertainments had a thing for English place names.

Purley's in Surrey, in SE England, not far below central London.
