scene_again ... I've absent for far too long and it's time I got back in the swing of things.
For the newcomers, I'm an old hand here who has been away for some time. My two biggest photographic obsessions are my dogs and our local Bald Eagles, just so you're warned for future posts.
I noticed the community has been doing themed/photo challenge type posts. I'd like to propose a new subject, one near and dear to my heart...FOOD!!!!
As a start, here a couple of links to posts I made here ages ago. Summer fruit and a comfort food sequence.
And just to be extra boring, under the cut is something new.

Photo Travel Meme

It took me a bit longer to get this together than I anticipated; most of the photos are scanned from 35mm, with only a few digital pictures. One of the photos was actually taken by my grandfather 5 years before I was born!!

mav-fan.livejournal.comI just realized that not everyone in this community are on my flist. I'm in the middle of the (mind numbing and tedious) task of changing all my photos over to flickr and my LJ scrapbook as I am unhappy with the quality on Photobucket. This means moving each photo and then editing each entry to replace the photo from photobucket with the new link. As you can imagine, it is rather annoying, so I'm taking a bit of a break from posting here.
Of course, I must post photos, and what better subject than the pups?!

Massive Pre-Holiday Catch Up Post
