We're having spotty clouds making for some interesting skies.



How about a new view?  Taken from virtually the same spot but facing north (and a few steps further out into the yard to avoid getting the house in the photo).  I don't know the name of this mountain, but I do know that it is firmly in Canada (Vedder is in both countries) and I am standing in the US.

I really like the puffy striated looking clouds (my cloud terminology knowledge is non existent).

Oh yes, we are on the west side of Washington, but a few miles east from Puget Sound.

I've googled Vedder mountain some time and ended in British Columbia so I guessed you must be very close to the Canadian border.

Aren't clouds fun things? One of these days when we get a clear sunny day, I'm going to try and capture the line cut through the trees and going across Vedder which is the border.

No, sorry, I didn't even know him until I googled him just now and found out. Basketball isn't so popular in Austria, and he is German.
I know of one Austrian in US hockey, Thomas Vanek, who is with the Buffalo Sabres. :-)
