This post will cover the dates of 29 April until 9 May.  We're flying out tomorrow at a ridiculously early time in order to allow ample time for airports and border crossings.   So, fair warning, this is a VERY picture heavy post.

2009 Bright and somewhat hazy


2010, look how much more in leaf the cherry tree is (to the right of the photo) than it was last year.  The second photo was taken from under the cherry tree.

I drove  all the way into town without seeing one single eagle.
