Of course I'm not surprised~ :-) You're right, if the whole garden had been modern (which I equate with a garden being clipped and trimmed to exacting perfection) it would be a bit much. I like tranquil as well, tranquil is good. I am hoping some of the arboretum's in Spokane will have a bit of tranquil to them. Regardless, I'll be able to pull over and take some photos of the mountains and passes as I head over them.
