A 10 month sequence.
VERY picture heavy, so you've been warned.Raspberry Rows )

A long, long, time ago I posted a sequence of our Newfoundland dog Rochester growing from puppy-hood to full grown.  Since people seemed to enjoy it, I'll do one of our new Newfoundland puppy, Fergus.  Mostly they are links to my LJ entries showing his growth, that's where the 'sort of' bit comes in.

Silliness

Today Fergus had a bit of surgery, he had to have 5 baby teeth which refused to fall out removed.  When we got home, he decided he liked my seat in the car.  Also, it gives a frame of reference as to his size.  He was 5 months old yesterday, and he weighs 74.5 pounds.

I spent hours yesterday loading photos for a sequence, then I realized, this is THE most boring sequence EVER!

However, having spent all the time, I'm going to post it anyway.

Warning:  Not only is this sequence picture heavy, it is as dull as dull can be.

When last we saw our intrepid cherry branch, it was just beginning to blossom.

See it here.

Picture heavy, not so good for dial-up.

Hazel Trees

Hi all!  I finally think I have a bit of a sequence ready for the community.  Of course, these trees are only now fully in leaf mode, and I'm sure I'll do an additional sequence later when the nuts are a bit further along, but I wanted to post something!

Since today was not such a great day; the Mavericks lost (in an entirely winnable game) yesterday, ending their season, fired their coach today (the fastest coach in the history of the NBA to reach 50 wins, 100 wins, and 150 wins), then after reading what I wrote today I realized it was not only really bad, but completely redundant, I thought maybe it was time to get together a post!  Always a great mood lifter!

This is the progress on one particular branch of my cherry tree.  It produces Rainier cherries (local name) and I don't know what they are called elsewhere.  When ripe they are mostly yellow with some red on them and are delicious.

Picture heavy, not too dial up friendly.

Since the hubby is going to do the painting, and he's waiting for drier weather, as well as some free time, I'm going to post this before painting.  It will be the same white color as the house, so you should get a good idea.

Picture heavy, perhaps not suitable for dial up.

Our new garage is really going along well now.

Find the first post here.

We made it to the sister in law's house just fine, thank goodness.

The hubby and I took a trip from our house on the Canadian border to his sister's house in the Seattle area (specifically Renton), the trip is a bit over 130 miles each way.

Yesterday morning I had to go into the small (but larger than my town) town just South of us.  I took the camera along for the ride.

I have been concentrating so hard on the trees in our front yard, the backyard has been almost completely ignored, excluding my trips to the back porch to take photos of the silo.  Yesterday, I took a walk out into the backyard, come along on my little backyard excursion.

Under the cut you'll find the building of our garage so far.

Since the community has been quiet for a few days, I thought I would post a little sequence of some of our sunsets.

I have been so busy taking photos for some long term sequences I am planning, I haven't posted in some time.  The long term sequences are all about our fruit and nut trees from winter to fall (or when they look really pretty).  Also I am doing photos of some of the local raspberry rows, should be dramatic!

Now, back to the silo!  These were taken on 12 February 2008.

This series will be of virtually the same shot (with a little variation on zoom and perspective) of Vedder Mountain at the same time of day, 10:30am until 12:30pm.

This is a bit of cheating, but I have been organizing all my digital pictures, and the idea for this sequence popped into my head and I had to post it.

As I mentioned in a couple of posts, yesterday (13 January 2008) was a lovely sunny day here.  As a graphic illustration, I will post pictures of the preceding day and today as 'brackets' to yesterday.

Hi, I am a mod here as well.  I have been doing the series photo activity since late December, not as long as [personal profile] rosie55, but long enough to have some sequences posted in my journal.  Under the cut is one of my previous posts.  Also under the cut is a small introduction.
