Scene in an English winter garden...

Feeling rather Spring-ish, I finally managed to walk to work again yesterday, without getting too covered in mud, but by the time hometime rolled around, the clouds had closed in again and we'd actually had snow again - not the kind that stays, just the kind that makes more mud. And it's obviously been raining alot last night too. This is a mucky time of year, and the first one I've spent in Cambs. that's been this wet...
So to remind me that there are pretty things still out there, here are some pics from a walk I took on Saturday, at a local National Trust property... It started out looking like an ordinary grey day, and we even had snow that morning too...

...but how pretty is this winter garden, and how full of colour, even under the same grey clouds?!
( More pics... )
