Pink skyed to the west, but when I looked the other way there were dark stripes of cloud, and an ordinary light! The day stayed clear though, and I looked out on blue skies the whole time...

Snow! Just a light dusting for us, but it's snow! The earliest snow since 1993, they say - I don't remember it snowing then, but I was in Manchester so it probably rained instead... *g*
