The view from the house at 10.33 this morning - brrr!

But it was a clear blue sky which you can see properly in this one a couple of hours later....

And still blue at 4.30 this afternoon when the setting sun was giving it all a glow!

And this was the view to the back of the house...
.
The melting frost means we can see exactly where some considerate person has taken a shortcut from our neighbour's house across our frozen lawn, not once but three times. Gee thanks, whoever you are! I expect the grass will recover sometime but it is irritating!

And there were some lovely views when we went out later - and yes, that is an air balloon in the distance, I bet they had a wonderful view today!

The Tyndale Monument from the North....

..and gleaming in the sun from the South!

And where the sun reached, not a sign of frost. But as you can see from this one, where the sun didn't reach, the frost stayed. It's a bit fuzzy. I'm afraid, on account of me taking it from a moving car and M wasn't slowing down again just so that I could take photographs. To be fair, he had already stopped a couple of times, poor lad - it's no fun driving me anywhere, I keep seeing things i want to take pictures of and asking him to slow down or stop!
So the last one...
