Hi, guys! Dear
sunray45 told me about this community, and I'm interested in:) So I want to show my photos of Japanese Spring Colors.
As it's a nice sunny Spring day, I went out for rambling around my neighborhood. There are so many beautiful things caught my eyes. I couldn't help taking their pictures. So, here are Spring photo spams! Beware, dial-up users!
Thank you for seeing these:) I hope you enjoy them.
It was a nice fine day, but I had bit teary eyes because of hey fever. Bloody allergies!!!!

There are some cherry trees beside of my apartment car lot. I've lived here since my junior high school days, and I really look forward to see these blossoms every year. Just ignore the power lines! They ruined whole beautiful scenery! Boo!

Looked up just under the tree. *sighs* How dreamy it was.

Close-up one. Lovely!

Near the trees, I found some dandelions in bloom. Tiny and Cute they were!

I entered a small park near my apartment on way to supermarket. There were also lots of beautiful flowers!! Ahh... Spring colors!
This lovely pink flower was peach flower. Took a photo of them and this is close-up one.

A flower bed. Just lovely, isn't it:)

Are they pansies?? I'm not sure...

But I'm sure these are pansies!

Mmm, very vivid violet!

This park is very close to my apartment. Just behind it.

And near the pond, there were lovely ducks here.

lol I love its pretty backside:)))

This park is just next to the main road and the train station. So you can see this view in the park but just turn around your eyes to right...

You also can see this. *Nice* view, isn't it.

The last photo, I found a couple pf swallows on the signboard of bus stop. They are making a nest right now:)

Date: 2008-04-05 09:46 am (UTC)The flowers you aren't sure of look like violas to me - smaller cousins of the pansy. But someone with more horticultural know-how than me might correct me on that.

Date: 2008-04-07 12:58 pm (UTC)Oh, violas are they? I love flowers but I'm not good at horticultural things. I don't even know their names unless they're very popular ones. lol

Date: 2008-04-05 10:18 pm (UTC)Beautiful pictures and it is lovely to see a glimpse of your home neighbourhood. The park is beautiful and I agree with llewela, the flowers are pansies or violas, same family and lovely colours. You're right about how cute that duck is, love that curly feather it has!
But oh, the cherry blossom - absolutely beautiful! And the peach flower, too - thank you so much for sharing the pleasure with us all! Look forward to more, when the wisteria comes out, if not before perhaps?? (she says hopefully!)

I think wisterias come out much later. Maybe in May? So I'll post their photos if I find them!!

Date: 2008-04-12 10:32 pm (UTC)So beautiful the cherry trees, if you look up into the blossoms you think you're in heaven, aren't you? The blossoms close up are beautiful, too the peach flower, lovely. There are dekorative garbage in the flower bed, I think. The dendelions are nice, too. The name over here is Lion's tooth, because of the teeth at the leaves, btw. Ha, and there's the place where you live and draw your nice drawings :). Thanks for posting!
