2009

A very ordinary looking day, still a little misty - but not cold, and there was an almost-warm breeze blowing gently as I waited for the bus in the evening. Little tree outside my window is most definitely feeling its green... Byslantedlight, 2009 (Cambs.)

2010

Today was the most gorgeous Spring day! Little car even said it was 21C when I got home this afternoon, although she was sitting in the sun... but it was t-shirt warm... And it turns out that there are some blossoms around (mostly in town), and there are rabbits by the side of the road, and pheasants chasing each other around the fields... 21C??? It was coooooold where I was yesterday.

Well, I don't think it was 21C all day, and it was down to 17C half an hour later in Little Car (but it had clouded over a bit more by then too...)

The blossom is pretty, isn't it! It seems to be out so patchily around here though... I remember the first year I got to this area, it was about this time of year, and I was just so impressed with the May in the hedges and the blossoms on the trees - the whole place felt so Spring-like! And it was just around Easter too, I remember that!

The spring flowers of all varieties are all over the place this spring - some were out early, others are apparently going to be very late. They got all confused by the winter we've just been through!

Today feels a lot more springlike. :)
