I spent hours yesterday loading photos for a sequence, then I realized, this is THE most boring sequence EVER!

However, having spent all the time, I'm going to post it anyway.

Warning:  Not only is this sequence picture heavy, it is as dull as dull can be.

For background information, in these photos you will see a small stand of trees (they are in the US) with a hill behind them.  The hill is in Canada.  Now, on with the boringness.

18 February                                                                                       17 March

That's right, you're watching grass grow, scintillating, isn't it?

26 April                                                                                                4 May

8 May  Even creative angles can't liven this up.                      10 May Look, now it's big chunks of dirt, how exciting!

18 May                                                                                                 31 May  Smoothed and planted.

8 June                                                                                                 13  June

7 July                                                                                                  16 July  Yipee! It's corn!!

7 August                                                                                            8 August

10 August Pretty fluffy clouds.                                                       11 August, the hill is slowly disappearing.

12 August Going....                                                                          14 August Going...

15 August Gone!!

I applaud you if you've made it this far.  Really I must be the most boring person on the planet?  What was I thinking?  Taking pictures of grass and corn growing?

I think it's really good to see this - nature in high speed motion, in effect.

ROFL it's the cycle of nature!

The corn will be pretty when it is fully ripe, whole field full.

Is it my midwest farmer heritge that I do find this fascinating? Love the grass turned to field ready to plant, and then the hill slowly disappearing.

So, are we going to get harvest through winter? *g*

It's the amazing disappearing Canadian hill! :-)

I think it's cool to see the corn growing, actually.

See, you must have made lots of equally boring friends here 'cos we all enjoyed this! Not all sequences have to be colourful and full of action, there is a certain satisfaction in watching Canada slowly disappearing! (No offence meant, Canada!)
I shall look forward to a follow up sequence of ripening corn - and dare we ask for harvesting, lol?

If I ever get my act together I'll post the pictures I've got of pine trees in a managed forest. They're not terribly exciting, either :)
