Puppy update

I haven't been too active on LJ lately, between the puppy training, the quick trip we took recently and having a sick hubby on my hands, I've just been too busy.

19 August, Barreling around the house.  He does a great deal of barreling these days.


21 August, I see why everyone is excited about these Blackberry Devices, they're delicious.


22 August, We went to Mt. Baker area and here he is in the parking area of the Nooksack Falls.  We didn't leave the parking area, he is still learning how to act out in public.


23 August, He is hoping I won't notice he is flopped in the middle of the pantry, so that I'll shut him in there with his (and our) food.


24 August, this photo is deceptive.  He is actually yawning rather than trying to eat Jerry.


31 August, He is on top of the air conditioning vent.  He is a bit confused as to why it only cools parts of his body when it used to cool him all over.


1 September, because they don't get much attention on the community, here are our oldest two cats Jerry (with one eye) and Groucho (black and white).


13 September, Post bath, and it is not an optical illusion, his head is now almost level with the top of the kitchen table.


14 September, Hmmm, my toes must taste good.


15 September, The cats again, apparently Jerry is worried that Groucho's bee-hind is going to go somewhere, so he is keeping held down.


18 September, He's in the backyard, in his mouth is an apple from the tree there.  He doesn't eat the apples, he just gathers them and holds them in his mouth until he gets tired of it.


18 September, on his couch playing with his newest toy.

The hubby is better, thanks. Well, actually, I'm not completely sure he feels 100%, but I made him go back to work and get out of my house!!

Very much so! He only worked 3 days this week, and this is his last day of his work week. I hate to admit it, but I hope he gets a call out either tomorrow or Monday so that he HAS to go in on one of his days off.

Thanks, I forget to add the kitties sometimes, poor things, they're so neglected. Jerry and Groucho are just so affectionate with each other.
We definitely get huge bags of kibble for the puppy. I have to have the people at the store put it in my cart and take it out to put it in my car. A smaller bag wouldn't last long at all, he is currently eating 7 cups a day and weighs a bit over 85 pounds.

I love the store where I get the pet supplies, they are so helpful. There are signs all over the store stating if something is too heavy, call one of the employees and they'll load it for you. I'm sure it's because of insurance concerns, but it is so nice to have that bit of service.

Just as well you have plenty of room for Fergus to barrel around in. I don't see him for a couple of weeks and he seems to have doubled in size!!

Love the way Groucho and Jerry groom each other. :)

It's true, he enjoys barreling around the three acres and sometimes in the house (luckily it's pretty roomy as well). Believe it or not, his growth kind of sneaks up on me since I see him every day. It's only occasionally when he is sprawled out, or when I'm going through pictures that I realize - Geez, he certainly has grown.

The hubby is much better and able to go to work. Actually, I didn't really give him much choice on that, he needed to get out of my house!

He's adorable - and that picture of him yawning is priceless, it really does look as though he's about to take a bite out of kitty.

Thanks! He is definitely gentle with the kitties, but I thought that photo was funny, since it is not at all what it appears to be.
The hubby is much better, thanks. I made him go back to work after 5 days staying home and messing up my routine.
