Rain on snow

Yesterday, we had fog and rain and snow and murky skies all rolled into one. I couldn't resist going out, although it was a bit uncomfortable taking pictures in the icy rain.

Thank you :D Yes, it was a bit gray and a bit wet, and I was contemplating if I should expose my camera to the elements... but I really wanted to go out and ended up doing a 10 km walk.

But then when you come home to hot tea and cookies, feels so nice doesn't it?

What great pictures, I like the soft pinky-grey light. 10 km! you must have been frozen when you got home. The cookies look too good to eat, just as well you took a photo, for the record.

Thanks Jay, yes I thought the light was very interesting, too, that and the combination of snow and fog lured me outside.
It wasn't actually that cold until I went up a hill, then it became rather windy. But only my hands got a bit cold. And I can use some exercise *g*
