I don't know if you have heard of our Great Bathroom Saga. Nasty seepage from shower recess meant that whole room had to be gutted and rebuilt. Thank heavens for Insurance!!! Also, because Insurance Co. said we couldn't live in a house without a bathroom, they put us up in this fantastic holiday unit/apartment for a week. It is just down the road from my place, so we could come back each day to see to the cats.
Anyway, thought you might like to see some photos of the scene from the balcony of the Unit.
I have used ImageShack for these pics. so just click to get full size.
This is what we saw as we walked in the door.
1.
Looking North from balcony.
2.
To the East.
3.
To the South East.
4.
Pelicans
5.
6.
The swimming lagoon, kids playing in water, Pelicans watching from light pole.

Thank you so much for this, I love seeing where my friends live!

Date: 2008-04-23 12:02 pm (UTC)You probably know the area. The Grand Hotel, Labrador, is right next door to where we were, overlooking The Broadwater.

Date: 2008-04-23 12:05 pm (UTC)We are back home now, and the bathroom is being used, but have had to get the painter back as he did the walls the wrong colour and the builder is coming tomorrow morning to check on the seal around the shower recess.
I'll be glad when it is all over, and we can get back to normal again. :)
