Over the weekend, Small and I decided to branch out from our usual Saturday routine and caught a bus up to Tongwynlais to visit Castell Coch, a gorgeous Victorian folly built on the remains of a medieval fort.

Here's a view of the castle from down in the village, nestled among the trees up on the hillside, with St Michael's Church in the foreground.
